Jaylin Noel hype

I think punt return safe is Crap. It gives me PTSD of the Chizik days with Todd Blythe back there fair catching. Weak. We have the talent that we have to have someone on our team who is both reliable and a threat.

Catching the ball is the most important thing and not just the easy ones. Being able to cover ground and field the tough ones rather than letting them run out is a really big deal, especially with how ISU plays.

Jackson was starting to fill that role before he got hurt too.

I don't see this at all, not even close to being the same type of guy. Jackson has a bright future but he's nothing like Milton or at least we didn't see him "fill that role" he caught 5 passes for 28 yards. Tyrique averaged over 20 yards a catch as soph. I think Jackson can end up a better overall player but Milton's role is as a big play guy, he's a specialist.

Yeah this is the kid I think is going to break out this year.
I hope so, having someone dangerous to throw the screen pass to would keep defenses a lot more honest than packing the middle against Breece the beast.
When multiple coaches highlight his name multiple times I have to think they aren't blowing smoke and he's a game breaker.

This is probably true. Even so, under Matt Campbell new players usually take a few games to break into the rotation.

Mike Rose being the obvious exception.
