Jaylin Noel hype

I like a challenge! By process of elimination, perhaps one of these two players.

Or,

I think it’s pretty obvious which one it was. Unsurprising Willams wanted to flip after seeing us beat the Sooners.

;)
Neither but Brandon nailed in

Nole or No-El?

Isn’t it Nole?
There was a guy in my mother's class in high school who had that as his first name and it wasn't pronounced either of those ways. It was like Nole, but actually two syllables: No-wel, but the second vowel was a schwa sound.

He looks fast on his tape, but I think what is probably making him stand out at ISU so far is his route running and ability to get open. Our WR's have had issues with that. In fact, it's easily been our WR's biggest weakness IMO. It always seemed like our WR's were always covered when we threw the ball to them.... which was because they were poor route runners and couldn't get open..... outside of Hutchinson.

I’m excited for Daniel Jackson too. He probably woulda had 100+ receiving yards and a TD or two if he didn’t get injured.

They've typically shuffled a lot of wide receivers under Campbell but assuming Hutchinson and Milton are WR1 and WR2 respectively that battle for WR3 will be interesting. Noel, Jackson, Scates, Shaw, Wilson, etc...Great problem to have. You better perform...

Hard to tell from watching on TV but it has often looked like Scates and Shaw have been open over the top but get underthrown.

Otherwise yeah the separation isn't great unless the run game or Kolar etc. are going but fortunately those are very reliable.

This is somewhat true..... love Purdy, but he's not the best at throwing deep. Throwing deep was definitely lacking a LOT last year. I remember being at the point where I just wanted us to throw deep once in a while even if we had no chance of completing it.... if only to keep the defense honest somewhat and stop them from stacking the box.

Noel currently listed as a starter here. Does the coaching staff put this out or just media speculation? Great news if Noel has taken a hold on that spot.

Also noticed the starting offensive line currently averages around 315 pounds and is 310+ across the board. Breece Hall is gonna EAT!

That two deep looks right to me, except I think Kyle starts at CB over Datrone Young.
