Jacob Park to transfer

I'll be curious to see if any of the players have anything to say about this.

Ps never mind... I see they are responding already.

To me, he seems to be try to place blame on others... fans/Campbell.

Whatever, man. I was an outspoken supporter of him and believed he’d be back.

Boy, I was wrong. Water under the bridge now.

Good Luck Jacob

Unfortunately, I'm not surprised with any of this. Here's a guy that we took a flier on, lots of talent but no one else wanted him. I always figured something would happen where he'd flame out of his own accord. Having said that, I wasn't hoping for that to happen - I always wanted the best for him and wish him well.

From conversations I’ve had with others, this is the exact same attitude he had with players on the team. Never was his fault and was everyone else’s. Looks like that’s the same BS here blaming the fans and the team. No accountability or humility. Appears he still has some growing and maturing to do. Oh well.

Good luck and best wishes, hope you get things figured out, Park.
Addition by subtraction? Is it any coincidence that ISU made it's biggest leap the next game in Norman without him.

CMC will likely take the high road on this.

This season didn't hold back the excitement vs. this past August.

He should go play football where Marijuana is legal. Iowa is too conservative and boring anyway.

I think I was a little hard on him for the Iowa and Texas game. He is a great athlete and I hope he finds a place where he can be successful.

Odd quote...

“Everybody says these fans are so loyal, right?” Park said. “Like, they were the first ones to turn on me. I got to witness this from a whole other perspective that most of you never get to witness.”
What? Withdrawl?

I don't care to do it but I bet "literally no one" is a false statement.

If Campbell really hadn't talked to him, that's a ******** way of handling this and I hope he learns something. If that's not true, there's one rule for these things: Don't turn a one day story into a two day story. No comments, just move on. Personally, I didn't feel as though the fanbase was really behind him after the OU game but I also didn't feel as if they were rooting against him. Then you have all the comments when he made the SM appearance a couple weeks ago.

It's time to just move on now. Go find a grad transfer for some depth and move forward with Zeb, Moore and Mitchell.
Totally agree. I also see how he could feel that way watching success without him and Kempt and zeb quicky getting embraced. He went from the perception of our most import piece to hey "hope he comes back depth would be nice". That would be tough for anyone to stomach and am sure it is hard to be happy for your team and watch them be more successful without you. I personally really wanted him back. He is a hell of a talent and hope he has a hell of a year for whoever.

I wasn't aware of any of that. He had his meltdown vs. Texas, CMC bodychecked him on the sideline, and he head a health issue that kept him out the rest of the season. Have to be respectful of a health/medical issue affecting a kid keeping them from the field, I had no idea it was a drug thing.

seriously?
