There's going to be a lot of information coming out on this tomorrow I'm sure. The whole bashing the program and the fans is really not a great look IMO.
I didn't read the full 5 pages of posts, so this likely is a "late to the party" post. But, this situation and Park's comments clearly show the need for further maturation. It's easy to quit when life gets tough and it's easy to blame others for one's poor choices. A real man owns his actions and mistakes and steps into the challenge for the sake of his teammates, but significantly more importantly, for his family.
I wish Park all the best in whatever is next, but I truly hope he grows up for the sake of his kid and decides to lean into future challenges life will inevitably throw at him. Running away rarely solves anything.

Nah. Not when it’s youre 3rd one. Again I’ve been one of the most outspoken supporters on this board for him.
The guy has been to 4 schools already and still thinks he’s not the problem. Lost ISU fans respect today.
Not wise words from Park. Something must have really triggered him in the last couple of days for him to completely change his tune.

It is too bad he didn't want to stay.
He has a ton of physical skills but his comments show a mental weakness. He was not forced to inseminate his baby's momma. I highly doubt illegal drugs were sprinkled on his Fruit Loops. He lacks accountability and mental toughness.
No one turned their back on Jacob Park. Everyone hoped him the best and wanted him back. In the end he didn't carry himself like a P5 QB. As Colin Cowherd calls them, he is a "hat on backwards" guy. Great physical skills but lacks character.

Jacob was a talented guy who helped ignite an opportunity for Joel Lanning to become an All American linebacker.
