Great rebounder

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

Great athlete and better person. I met him once as a student, he would walk up to a group of people he never met and put a smile on everyone's face. RIP JV

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

He was a super talented player. He was one of my friends favorite players and we actually went to a Suns game while in Phoenix one time.

Sad thing. From his instagram, he looked like a guy that knew how to have fun and always had a smile on his face.

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

Terrible news. Great player, fun to watch, and a good person. I remember seeing him at parties and he was great to the student body fans.

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

Awful news. Prime example that tomorrow is never assured in life. Vroman was a unique person, and a fun player to watch.

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

In complete shock now. First time I found out was just now. Oh man!

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

RIP Vroman.

Loved the way he played the game.

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

Dang. That's too bad. We named our dog after him. Our dog is going on his 13th year and still healthy. RIP Jackson.

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

As several have said, one of my all time favorite Cyclones. My wife and I saw his first game at Hilton. Poor guy missed every time he got to the free throw line. His last attempt he made, and the crowd cheered like hell.

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

Damn, this really sucks. Loved watching him play back when I was growing up, him and Homan were a great tandem down low. The team with those two along with Stinson, Blalock and Sullivan was fun as hell to watch. Not to mention he was a stand up guy off the court that just seemed to live life to the fullest. RIP Jackson.

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Re: Jackson Vroman dies in car accident

How "unique" is ISU when it comes to former athletes under the age of 35 to die?!? How many has that been now in the past 10-12 years? Do other schools have this type of thing happen where it seems as if at least one "young" former athlete dies each year??? Seems like this happens way too often here at our school....... Tragic for sure!
