I bet ISU does a good job leading to the game with appropriate "reminders" of why we are wearing them. Have to remember, outside of this website, the casual fan may not know the whole story of Jack Trice.

I actually got a call from the athletic dept on friday to tell me that my designs helped get the ball rolling. This is one of the first designs i did. I'm pretty excited today :smile:

Wow, those are awesome! Really like how they turned out, especially the gold. Helmet is excellent too.

I know when you posted some of the photos of your designs, I printed them out and showed them to some of my friends in Athletics and they did hint they'd seen them.
Of course not, no uniform ever is as cool as the mockup - as the mock up is photographed/lit in a way to really show it off.
i'd have to agree that the number is very un-attractive and seems to take away alot from the design. however, i'm glad they are more muted than the mock ups and used colors that actually are more authentic. lastly, the socks...thank god they didn't do the knee-high socks from the mock-ups...

This was my thought too. I don't care for that and I wish they had the old school I or cyclone logo instead of the number on the helm. Still cool though.
