They have tons of returning starters. Thier QB is mobile. They have one of the best RBs in the nation. Thier D is decent. They beat us last year.
We are more athletic than them, which is why I say we will win, but we can't make the mistakes and be as sloppy as we were against SDSU.
I think we have way to many weapons and young kids trying to prove them selves to lose this game. This team looks more disciplined, aggressive and motivated to win.

I'm in your camp. I've been tricked too many times to be feel confident. I'd rather expect them to lose and then be surprised when they win.
I think there has been some kool-aid drinking for this thread...
Don't get me wrong I hope we blow them out, and we are improved over last year, but we're not entirely out of the woods yet.

Wow, that's confusing for such a short sentence. How about: I say we win by 10 or more.
its not going to be close at all...we are bigger, stronger, and faster...and this year we should win by three touchdowns.
I honestly think this will be a huge test for us. We're going to have to tackle much better than we did against SDSU to slow down their running game. They have better athletes and a more balanced offense than SDSU. Take away our big defensive plays and look at the stats from the game and you'll see that it wasn't a big blow out. We'll win...but it'll come down to late in the 4th quarter. We need a tough game before Iowa to get us primed.
Last year I thought we would dominate this game. Their qb and rb killed our defense and they are both back. I think we will play with a chip on our shoulder and even this 3 year series at 1-1 with a 28 - 17 victory!
I would love to see a blowout, but I think the kool-aid is being consumed in mass quantities. The game I saw last week didn't give me any kind of confidence going into this week, if it does for anyone here, I have to wonder what game you were watching.

I'm sure there is some possibility that it will be a blow out.
Sure they return 15 starters....from a team that finished 3-9 (1-7 in the MAC) last year.
If we struggle with them, get ready for a brutal year in the Big 12 because Kent State would finish 11th or 12th in the Big 12.
I think/hope we win comfortably.
