Holding BC to 21 didn't impress me at all. The only reason they scored at all last year was because of their QB, and he is long gone.
Last week I was certain we'd open up the playbook a little more to allow the QB competition to be better judged. We didn't. I expect we'll see a little more this week, although I think the "full" playbook is being saved for Iowa and the B12.
That said - lower scoring than I'd hope for, but ISU 31, KSU 10. And Bates will break off a 60+ yard scoring run.

I think it will be close, but Chizik will have the boys motivated for revenge, and that will be the difference. Last year, they were worrying about where to be on the field, remembering plays, etc. This year they can just play ball.

Come on, did you see last weeks game. 100 X better then what we saw last year opening day against Kent State. They are an average MAC team, and we are at home with a little chip from last year.....
38-7, but I think we could pull a shut out the way the defense moves......
I also know Kent State has a very mobile and experienced QB.

i think we are playing up kent state a little too much... they are a good team, yes, but we are a lot better if we show up unlike last year
