The frustrations stems from that young people, ESPECIALLY RECRUITS, care immensely about uniforms. Why the heck would we be stubborn and traditional, even though we don't have any tradition, with uniforms in an era where recruits are attracted to flashy and different uniforms? That is not being aware. We have enough against us as a program, we don't need to further hurt ourselves by ignoring the market place. You can disagree with with the people that complain about uniforms all you want, but it is not going to change the fact that in 2015 uniforms matter.
Uhhhh....... wut?
Try to keep up, clonedude! Just kidding man. I usually don't read all the posts either. For those who did not know, especially us 'out-of-towners' (out of staters, actually), ISU did make a couple of subtle uniform changes this year (for 2015). Here's the link:

I had a visitor in from California. His first comment when our team came on to the field was "man those uniforms are butt ugly". While I don't think they are the best we can do, I never thought they were down right ugly. So it was interesting to hear what some one that has never been to Iowa or knows anything about ISU football thought.
Yup, 2007 was the Shaggy game in Ames, 15-13.![]()
BTW, this second pic here looks like it was at home. Am I right? (All the red in the stands.) Did we wear white that day? What was the score? If I remember correctly, I think we won (?).
