The icing on the cake is that this happened in Texas. Between beating UT last year, and TT the way they did this year, Coach Rhoads has some serious credibility to go into recruit's homes. I'm sure all the Texas kids on the roster are enjoying the hell out of this one.

It is really amazing what happens when you don't turn the ball over, keep your defense off the field, make their defense play the whole game. And you use your strenghts. Namely running the ball up behind the best linemen in the leagues big fat butt until they figure out how to stop it.

This. +1. It also doesn't hurt to exploit the weakness of the defense, which in the case of Tech is the run. What are they, 105th against the run. 40 min TOP to their 20. That wins games.

Yeah, I actually changed the channel away from our game to the Stanford/USC and OSU/Wisc games because of how bored I got watching ours. Felt weird.

I have to take a little credit in this win. And a little blame. This was only the third game I have seen in person - I saw the tornado game, the Minnesota game in Tempe and this. Had I known that I was good luck, I would have went to the Texas game this year!
