ISU legacy commits to KU

You can make a case that Lance Leipold is the best X’s and O’s Coach in college football. I thought Michigan State would have scooped him up.
He's probably the best coach in the conference. I mean they have half the resources we do yet outperform us on the field 50% of the time. They were 9-4 this year which would be the best team in ISU history.

@isufbcurt Is the laugh emji just a defense mechanism because you don't want to admit KU is every bit the program we are. They have beat our ass the last 2 years in a row. They have also finished with a better record than we have the last 2 years. They were beating us when loser Rhoads was the coach too though. They even won an Orange Bowl in a non-pandemic year.

I am laughing at your circle jerk over their coach

Pretty good chance both 2025 big name legacy kids are not picking Iowa State. Curvey and Stinson. Is what it is.

No longer recruiting Stinson. Haven't been for quite a while actually.

Don't think the football staff really pushed for Curvey. Verdon and Limbaugh are the priorities at his position.

It would be interesting if the NIL $ would have to be reported because there's so much bs out there. I was told KU doesn't use any NIL for incoming freshmen. Also heard A&M didn't end up paying what they promised, so a ton of players left, but now a bunch more are going there. There's no structure or rules. Seems a little out of control.

KU pays their freshmen via bagmen, not NIL. Duh.

They have way more NIL money, I’m not sure they have less than us.

Yeah the stadium blows, but they got good coaching and can pay.

Their new stadium. JFC where have you been?

No dog in this fight but does the Stadium really matter? It's just a place for fans to show up for 7 Saturdays a yr. Lodging, training facilities, meals, tutors etc all should matter more than the stadium if you are a student/athlete. In the NIL TV world why spend money on the stadium? The fans that want to show up are going to show up anyway, the rest are going to stay home and pay $10/month for espn+ and watch it on their big screen from the coach. Page after page tell us the fans don't matter why spend money on the stadium.

Yeah it definitely looks better when you show a recruit a nice stadium with all the amenities. Its more exciting for the fans, provides a better atmosphere, luxury and club seating, etc. The only thing they were ever lacking down there was facilities. Lawrence is a great college town. You aren't far from KC. They have the JUCO system right there in that state. It wouldn't be a bad job at all. You dont think this would be better to show recruits than their current stadium?

Hmmmmm, I don’t see a bridge.

You said they are doing more with less facilities. I’m asking what less facilities do they have than us?
They have everything we do now except a nice stadium and its on its way. So yes they have been doing better than us recently and have less to work with right now. You are crazy if you don't think that stadium will help their program more than the current Memorial Stadium.

We finished higher than they did in the conference this year. Your point would be more believable if you didn’t participate in hyperbole.
