Im sorry but its not all his fault. His points dont exactly mean anymore than touchdowns left on the field.

He was 8/10 before the Kansas game. He made a 45-yarder tonight. He has made two 50-yard FGs this year. He is not terrible. Just needs to get his confidence back.



He personally, no. I was talking about the kicking unit as a whole.

People forget this. Thank you for mentioning it. He definitely still has ghosts from the KSU game.

Mahoney is not terrible. He is in a funk. Just needs to get his head back. You do that by kicking extra points, and we're not scoring touchdowns.

As a kicker your job is to kick and make field goals and extra points, everyone else out there tonight did their job. Is to much to ask of our kicker to do his more than 33% of the time?

Looking at the stats on this game it's amazing that we're only up 24-3.

We need to do something about our kicking game...every since I've been following Iowa State it's been a problem..

ISU before McCarney generally had very good kickers...Walden even brought in Jamie Kohl for Mac's first 4 years which baffles me why he thought it would be a waste to not have another scholarship kicker to follow him.

Prior to him, we had Ty Stewart and Jeff Shudak who were good...

Whatever you need to think but 1/4 is terrible. He lost us the KSU game. Had a SIGNIFICANT hand in losing us the KU game. He is terrible my friend, take off your homer glasses.
