I think this corona virus thing is gonna make more and more recruits want to stay closer to home. Doesn't bode well for Iowa schools IMO. We'll see.

I dont know if the closer to home things matter as much with as much as teams travel, do early season tournaments, etc.
If I had to guess the once every 4 yrs in Europe tournaments will be reconsidered.

Logically you would think larger metro schools like UCLA, Washington, St John's would take a hit because of the population base.

I was thinking more along the lines of the kids not being able to take official visits.i think it’s more likely they’d already be familiar with the more local schools Plus, during times like these it might be attractive to stay closer to family.
