ISR March to Madness thread

Yes the #1 Grad Transfer on the market decided not to leave when he could have went anywhere he wanted. What a failure by Iowa State in this scenario!
What number grad transfer on the market are you pursuing now? all of them?

I think this corona virus thing is gonna make more and more recruits want to stay closer to home. Doesn't bode well for Iowa schools IMO. We'll see.

Works out great for the Murray twins
True, but in all seriousness, if this goes as long as they're saying, could really impact recruiting. Especially football since both both teams rely so heavily on out of state talent. We'll see....

For you guys I'd think transfers would be difficult for the upcoming basketball season but who knows.

I was being as sarcastic as possible. Now landing Toppin would really change things though and hopefully get the ball rolling on other guys
No worries...I think we're just seeing the tip of the iceberg on how this is going to effect college athletics.

If I had to predict....I don't think we see fans at games for football. I also could see no football at all. If that happens Athletic departments are going to be in dire straights...we're already seeing some of the impact from just the lost tourney revenue.

Going to hurt schools like Iowa that depend on player development without having spring practice and this is just the beginning.

I actually agree with this. That Oregon State kid not getting any reps this Spring will hurt. Teams returning impact players will have an advantage
