ISR Bowl talk

Looking to me like their game is over. USC can't stop Iowa at all. Gonna take some insane adjustments to change that.
 
USC is a good team...they just aren’t playing good tonight..happens. See it a lot in bowl games..1 team plays one of their better games and other team could care less. USC defense is atrocious...They gave up 60 to Oregon and 40? To UCLA or someone last 2 games of season. They are on pace to give up 56 to an Iowa offense which doesn’t even rank in the top 60..

And Clonedude..ISU lost @OU on a last second failed 2pt conversion..does that mean ISU is almost a playoff team?

I'm just saying USC isn't total garbage just because Iowa is beating them right now. They are still a decent team. Iowa really came to play and put in a great game plan thus far and you have to give them a little credit too.

I would LOVE it if ISU comes out tomorrow and uses even half the variety of plays Iowa has used tonight.

USC needs to light up their DEs at half and tell them to hold containment. They are collapsing hard and are not coming close to setting the edge. If they played the basic outside in they may get a stop, not with these DEs though.

How often does a Kirk team lose when they have a 10-point window? Basically never. Also not common for Iowa to score 21 in a single quarter, they struggled to hit that in entire games earlier this season. They haven't even punted yet.

It would take a massive implosion by Iowa to change this, and it's not like USC has a master coaching staff. Maybe we'll be surprised, but I certainly won't bet on it.

And just as I say this, Slovis makes an insane deep throw into double coverage. Incredible how that happens.

USC needs to just go after Stanley. Bring the blitz.... or whatever you have to do to shake Stanley up.

Btw... that was probably the best throw I've ever seen. Getting nailed as he threw it, and hit the guy right in the hands in stride. WR didn't have to speed up or slow down whatsoever.
