The last time Iowa returned a kickoff for a TD against USC..... USC ended up trouncing them. We can only hope that happens from here on out.

I think kickoffs are illegal in the Pac12 too because when one guy has a shot at a tackle and then there's only the kicker within 15 yards your coverage team has epically failed. Smith Marsette is a hell of an athlete.

I wish Smith Marsette was good enough to leave early for the pros.

But seriously though... I hate Iowa with a passion... always have, always will. But you have to really admire how they are playing tonight if you're just a football fan. Playing good fundamental football, yet mixing it up really well, keeping USC off balance, playing physical, and not making critical mistakes to kill themselves either.

I think it would take a 3 INT second half out of Stanley to do it, and I don't see that happening tonight.

This is the most impressive I've seen Iowa look all year. USC does look very uninspired and not really wanting to be there, but still, Iowa is mixing their offense up like I've never seen before.
