ISR Bowl talk

You seem upset your Hawks aren't as good as the Cyclones

Just put my money line bets down on both Iowa and ISU, I think they both get bowl wins this year.

Hawk presence in San Diego is lower than expected.... not that I’m complaining. We normally see fans of visiting teams all over town the week prior to the game. Saw about four or five at the beach this morning, one at a restaurant yesterday, and that’s it. It will be interesting to see how many show up at the game.

Most are probably in Orlando for our bowl. Always a bunch of hawks at all of our games.

Hawkeye nation thread has a lot of fans drooling over the USC cheerleaders and the size of their pom poms when comparing them to the river bottom ground along the Mississippi River type the Iowa Cheerleaders have.

USC - 2
Iowa - 0

;);)

Alright, enough trolling around from me.

Iowa 23
USC 7

I think Iowa’s defense totally shuts down usc.
That's about where I'm at. I think USC is gonna have to sling it around the yard to stay in it, and I just don't see that happening successfully.

Then again, I also thought OKST/A&M was gonna be closer than it already is with OKST grabbing massive chunks of yardage at will. Still early, though.

Iowa "should" win this game fairly handily IMO. USC is a mess.

Did you hear Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart just ripping USC apart a few minutes ago on the pre-game show? It was pretty brutal. The program is going downhill fairly quick, and nobody is too happy about it in USC land.

I was reading elsewhere from people comparing USC and ND as both being football bluebloods and great statement possibilities for each team... I just don't see it. ND was in the Playoff, what, last season? USC hasn't done **** since the sanctions. Those two are not on the same level anymore. Historically, sure. In recent time? Nope. And yet they even elected to keep Helton!

And that's not a knock on Iowa, it's just what it is. I don't see it as a statement game for them...just not an opponent of that quality level.
