ISR Bowl talk

How many yards will Iowa get against MS State? I'm guessing they have a good D.

So is thinking you'll win a natty every year, but here you are...

I remember when I was on FB a full on Hokdom friend of mine used to post pics of himself with the B1G trophy saying it was all Iowa's in a season where they were basically out of it by November. Would also post about 'ISU's Super Bowl' unprovoked but say nothing for any other games.

Wonder if there's a connection there.

I’ve been right about pretty much everything. Called Josh Jackson, Noah Fant, and TJ Hockenson studs prior to all their breakout seasons. Predicted that Kempt would get injured/benched and fans would treat the next QB like a savior. Correctly pointed out that THT is a bad shooter. I could keep going if you’d like.

Go ahead and quote these predictions for me.

How is losing a slow RB who only put up garbage time stats like Montgomery a huge deal? Same with Butler who's not even as good as Marvin McNutt?

Montgomery is really good. Him being slow for a RB doesn’t mean that he can’t be good.

McNutt is one of the greatest receivers in Iowa history. Not sure what that has to do with replacing Hakeem Butler.

Montgomery and Fant don't belong in the same sentence you said though...

McNutt never even caught a ball in the NFL. If he's better than Butler I'm not sure why you think Butler is a huge loss

Wait, so now the NFL matters to you?

You'll find them shuffled in with the "Ragubumba is elite, Iowa has 11 basketball players better than Babb, Purdy sucks, etc" posts

Never called Rugamba elite and never said Purdy sucks. Nice try though, troll.

You have a problem. Go back and keep score on your predictions.

I’m worried about tomorrow. Think Iowa needs a defensive td or special teams td. MSU might be the best defense on cfb this year.

Yeah but he was good in college so that's all that matters.

If players really weren't anything special in college but got drafted and did well in the NFL, that's also all that matters.

Make sense?

Ummm..

Iowa definitely has more talent at CB. Both Rugamba and Jackson are superb talents.

And both Jackson and Rugamba are more likely to play in the NFL than Peavy. Also, Rugamba has the lowest passer rating against of any returning DB in the Big Ten. I'll stick with my opinion that Jackson and Rugamba are better talents than anyone Iowa State has to offer. Although Peavy is pretty good for a lil feller.

I want to see the Noah Fant and Josh Jackson predictions. There's a reason I won't see them.

Where’s your Jacobsen prediction in there?

Massive? LOL.

With two of the greatest skill position players in Iowa State history, they had the 77th most efficient offense in the country. I don’t know how any rational, objective person could expect for the offense to be better next season without Montgomery and Butler.

With your track record of predictions I think it's safe to say it's a lock our offensive efficiency numbers are improved next year now. Thanks!
