I would have hated Georges with a fiery passion if he was on any other teams

"That effing guy? Isn't he like in his sixth year? Can't jump over a phone book, fat, short, ugly, does all those stupid spins and crap like that? Won't shut his mouth, either?" *hates that he keeps making game-winning shots and embarassing our defense

That being said, he was the best because he was ours. I hope somebody can take up his legendary trash game going forward.

Miss you, Georges.

We do still have Naz this year.

It amazes me how many people here follow recruiting so closely but can't figure out what a potential similar situation of how the recruitment of Georges Niang went means.

How about you just say. "we are in a great place with him because we we're early in on his recruitment" or "we are the heavy leader because we offer playing time and he has shown that he likes the coaches" or "I have heard he is leaning one way or the other" because by you just flatly throwing out phrases that are up for so much interpretation, people are starting to just assume you are trolling. If you want people to believe or listen to you, say "This is going to be a potential Georges Niang-esque situation, because he is sounding like he is happy with the way the staff has been prioritizing him and we have been in on him from the get go, so people are saying that it is Iowa States to lose."

Not so much interpretation, and you actually say what you are, apparently, trying to say.

He actually is trying to mess with you guys though. He likes trolling people, especially the people who lost their ever loving minds toward him in the Lard thread.

His desire is not to allay anyone's fears or make people feel better. He's just enjoying himself, in his own little way, on the interwebs.

You'd think people from Hawaii would be more ... chill, brah.

I always knew that Niang played with Nerlens Noel (I don't know if anybody else knew this) but I didn't realize he was recruited to play football for Alabama, too.

C'mon Rocks. For the most part I enjoy your posts, well most of the kazillion you post. But give one real similarity to the Niang recruitment.

Hoiberg went to see Noel and Selden. Saw Niang instead. Offered him on the spot. Brought him on an unofficial, he committed right away, and held steadfast despite his rise.

Yeah. Exactly like Stokes.

Shouldn't have to figure it out. I am not aware of a reason to go to a message board to solve riddles. I would go ahead and Google "riddles" if I was keen on solving riddles.

My riddle for you since you enjoy cryptic crap: you remind me of a baby's diaper after eating Gerber peas.

It sort of is like Niang. A lot of the big boys stayed away because they thought Stokes was going to play football at Alabama or some place like that. I think we were one of the first major conference schools to offer him a basketball scholarship.

@cyrocksmypants

You can be somewhat cryptic, but you've got a record of coming through. I appreciate that and support you for it.

"Malou situation" = bad news

"Niang situation" = good news

It isn't that hard for people to figure out. Keep doing what you're doing. I never try to shoot the messenger.

Despite our disagreements in the cave, this guy is pretty smart.
