Spot on.

Cyrocks continually has to come on and say "Well thats not what that meant" or "You interpreted that post wrong "

What a joke. Your greatness? Dude...youre a hack on a message board that posts cryptic non commital "info" from a "source". We're laughing at you...not with you.

Your comments are more harsh than I would express, but nonetheless, Rocks posts...

Remind me of the old expression - Pretender to the Throne.

Man stokes looks to have a lethal midrange game. Soft hands. Definitely like the niang comparison

Oh man. I really hope Stokes sees his way to becoming a Cyclone. If he does - or someone like him- can you imagine the future team?

We may take a step back in 17/18 due to youth - although I'd still expect us to make the tournament - but after that???

I have to eat crow. I really didn't think Prohm had the chops to be a big time recruiter. I'm an old accountant - and as such really don't understand - or try to understand - what some of these young kids think about when they're making such a huge decision. But with both Prohm and Campbell I have developed a level of respect and admiration for some of these kids. They're making choices based on the staff that they think can not only further them in their sports, but can help mold them into better people and help them become more successful.

So for you other old guys out there bashing the millennials... KMA.

If Prohm can grab Stokes and sign a class of Wigginton, Lewis, McNeill and Stokes in a couple of weeks, the future looks pretty bright. I'd still like to see them get a JUCO wing who can put the ball in the bucket, and maybe a grad transfer big man, but I think this class would have the potential to keep us in the top half of the Big 12 (and a perennial tournament team) for the next four years, with 2017/18 being a middle of the conference type year.

Kinda underwhelming expectations there lol

Well, I guess I've just been a Cyclone fan for long enough to realize that it isn't a given to have a program that stays near the top of the conference and is almost always in the NCAA tournament. In fact, the recent 5 year run is an outlier in the history of ISU basketball. Before the current run, Iowa State had been to the NCAA tournament once in the 11 years between Tinsley's graduation and the start of the current streak. For all of the success Fred had, I don't think he really put the pieces in place to keep the program at a high level long-term. I think Prohm has a chance to do so, and I think it would be an improvement from where we have historically been. (And of course, I hope they have a few magical years sprinkled in there with Final Fours, etc.)

I like the victor Alexander comparison, for u youngsters big Vic was not real lean but had the softest hands and nice shot for a big guy. However I think a
stokes is more mobile and athletic with out quite as nice a touch

Not sure if any of you remember Sean may off North Carolina from a while ago but that's who he reminds me of with more range

That North Carolina team was incredibly good. All I know though? Jared Homan was an absolute beast in the game. 19 and 20. Too bad he was the only one to show up.

Ok...back to Stokes. Don't really care who he reminds people of. I just want him in cardinal and gold. Young man is a monster.

Didn't help that team only went about 6 deep. That North Carolina team was stacked. They ran us off the floor.
