I'd be confused if they pulled redshirts here. I'm fine with doing so but only if the guy is going to clearly hold the starting spot the rest of the year, and Larson, Meeks, and Goettl all beat the true freshman at their weights at the first tournament of the season. Larson is where we knew he'd be, and for Goettl it is to early to see how he's going to do at 157 (and no reason to toss a freshman out in Carver when you've got a senior who has been there before). Meeks is the only one, at least from the outside, where a guy is underperforming where he was expected to be. But even there it seems early to throw in the towel.
Also, this makes the decision not to send our starters to Harold Nichols at least at those weights puzzling. If we weren't sure who was the guy at 125, 141, and 157 then why not put them in a position to decide it on the mat outside the room?

Has anyone ever used BTN2Go before? I see that I can login through my DirecTv account, but is the streaming any good?

What are the chances that the following happens?
- Earl drops to 125
- Hallman comes in at 133
- Gabe drops to 141
- Goettl drops to 149
- Woiwor steps in at 157
Huge risk/reward potential if Woiwor is at 157.
I don't really think 25 and 41 would be good long term moves. I would avoid those, if possible.
Does anyone have an update on if this will be on BTN or a guess as to if ISU might have a replay available on cyclones.tv later? No footage of the @MSU came up later on cyclones.tv but I'd have to think this is being televised or recorded in a professional way somehow, some way?
BTN is not doing this match on any of its platforms. It will be on Mediacom 22 only. Replay rights are tricky, so no guarantees of it being posted later on CyTV.
They actually added it to their BTN2Go lineup yesteday. I'd guess it'll just be the mediacom feed.
In order to get BTN2Go, you still have to have a TV provider that includes BTN in its lineup. I was able to log in to BTN2Go because I have Mediacom.

Please do not pull red shirts. Please. Please just be an effective motivational tactic. True frosh should only wrestle if they are other worldly talents, if there are literally no other options, or they will put a team over the top in the team race. None of these are true of the true frosh being discussed.
