Iowa vs Rutgers

Probably get 8 teams in the tournament, is that good or bad?

Iowas RPI is 59 and won't go up much if any tonight. Purdue is only 72.

Likely 7, I wouldn't say 'probably' 8.

7/10 is quite a lot stronger than 7/14 or 8/14 anyway. Texas is the only one of the Big 12's 7 that isn't even near a lock. You are likely familiar with our closest thing to a bubble team in Texas.

I just don't know how he fits in on this team. Clay Custer has 5X more swagger than Uthoff, he might get eaten alive by our guys.

I'm thinking he's a let it fly 3 point shooter if he were on our team who is also a decent rebounder and passer. Probably would be another tall shooter they mention stretching the D. Don't think he'd add anything Hogue or Ejim didn't the past few years, but he is a good player without a lot of obvious flaws like some of their other players the past few years.

Iowa will win easily but no thanks to their fans. 6 mins before tip.

Iowa City is a fun town. ISU packs the stadium for women's games. .. I think that says something about Ames.

Cmon Section you're really gonna let this kid be the voice of your fan base over here? This is embarrassing

The whole state of Iowa is pretty boring for except for college sports as far as entertainment goes. Is there a U2 concert in Iowa City tonight or something?

Can't expect all the die hard hoks to drop everything in Cedar Rapids and skip their Thursday night class at Kirkwood.

LOL @ mocking a school for supporting its athletic teams by posting on an athletics message board. C'mon man.

Because we'd rather support our teams and school rather than go out, get wasted, and disappoint our parents on a Thursday?

Maybe it's because I've lived in big cities, but is there really a difference in night life? Either it's crazy drunken college kid mayhem or it's a small town with a few bars and restaurants for older adults. The college brings in entertainment and culture neither town would have otherwise but at a pretty much exact equal level.

I hate to sound like I'm bashing college towns or small towns, but I laugh my ace off when I hear people act like Iowa City or Lawrence is SanFrancisco or something compared to Ames. There's the exact same stuff to do in either midwest college town.

Rutgers should just have this Mack kid chuck it every play as fast as he can. Everything else they have done all night on both sides is a total disaster.

Big win for Purdue. They're pushing Iowa out of the bubble

Both teams better hope RPI isn't considered strongly unless they get hot and it changes a lot. Iowa at #59 and Purdue probably will move up but still in the 60s.
