It's time to be done with Penn State and move to Purdue. Big time trap game. I knew their defense had improved but I'm shocked by how much statistically. Will be another grind it out type game Not an ideal game to have 1 of the best Corners in the country missing but those are the breaks and Terri has looked good as a backup. I expect Purdue is going to throw it 50 times
I'm being serious of course this will be a tough game. A lot like what Iowa State will see this weekend. Should both teams win? Yes but it's not far fetched to see either losing. Especially when you've just played your biggest game which was extremely physical and now you face a team that's been a thorn in your side for 4 years coming off a bye week
Also the fact the other player he brought up that is out for the season didn't get booed either since that was the first series. Neither did the QB, WR or RB that got hurt.
Purdue is an OK team and they've been a matchup problem. The timing of the game complicates it further. I'll be happy just to win

and yes in the real non flyover state world the vast majority of Iowa is small town. Just because waverly wasn’t for you, and you live in north liberty, it doesn’t mean you’ve ever lived in a city

If Iowa loses I won’t blame the refs, injuries, the media!, some other boogeyman. Iowa has the better team and should win. If they don’t it’s on the Iowa players and coaches.
