Actually, the real question should be would Iowa be able to win a conference in FCS? Of all of NDSU's opponents this year, Iowa got beat the worst.

Iowa won't beat Rutgers tomorrow and the ISU game would have been a lot closer with the same effort and execution they played with against NDSU. That is on the players and coaches. Much like the Rose Bowl game. Sure Stanford was much better than Iowa, but with the way Iowa played they wouldn't have beaten anybody in the big 10 that day.

He was saying they will lose if they play with the same effort they did against the bizon. I was confused at first too bit I'm pretty sure that was the point.
They just come out flat because they were coming off their big win. They'll be fine this week and I bet Iowa to cover

I love it when fans can/cannot comment on teams they all watch on tv based on their team's record.
By that logic, none of us can critique a CFB playoff game unless our team is in there, even though we're all watching the same game.
