Iowa State vs Iowa Rivalry

Thinking of this, I know several UNI grads (my sister is one) but only one drake grad. Do those people not leave DM or so they leave the state. I honestly never run into them.
I have just as many Cyclone fan friends lol I just have a lot of Iowa fan friends as well. Again, great people and great company but their fandom is awful. So so so annoying.
I don't pretend to cheer for Iowa. I LOVE it when they lose. I hate them with a deep fire.
Pretty much my experience. It never fails that non-grads are the obnoxious ones. They take their cues from big city professional sports fans.
What happened to Hawkize? I saw his account was suspended. He's the worst of them all. He was getting absolutely roasted after Iowa lost and Iowa State won, so of course, he quickly deflected to his usual sob stories. The guy is a total loser and hypocrite. It's fans like him that ensure I'll never root for Iowa. And he's one of many that go out of their way to **** on our school, town, and fans.
Yeah Twitter put him in timeout lol. That guy is absolutely miserable. I'm sorry, but if you are so unhinged about sports that you get banned from Twitter, you probably need to re-evaluate a lot of your priorities.
But yeah that's hilarious. There are plenty of Iowa fans just like him that are pulling their hair out and cannot fathom that Iowa State, yet again, is the most popular basketball team in the state. They had essentially 1-2 years in which their school was in the spotlight and TJ and co. came in and stole all of it back. ******* beautiful.
My favorite was when he tried to "well actually" a fellow Hawk fan by saying the photo he took of his kids was with Kris and not Keegan and got immediately checked by Kenyon Murray
My ONLY sure exception is a scenario where them winning directly helps ISU in some way. (They beat someone we need moved down for BB seeding or bowl selection).
Secondary consideration.. if Iowa was 1-10 in FB and them beating Ohio State by a score of 7-6 knocks OSU out of the playoffs and puts OK St or Cincy, etc into the playoffs instead. (Even that probably still helps ISU revenues)

Agree. I'm on a group chat with my friends(Hawks) and we rib a little bit but not disrespectful in the least.
We used to have a guy post on here 24 hours a day. I think he got suspended as well.
I refuse to watch a single Hok game. I actually hate the CyHawk games because I have no choice but to watch them then. The call-in shows on WHO1040 after a bad football loss or a string of losses and they all want KF fired is gloriously entertaining however.
AMEN! I have always despised how the non Ag school IOWA decided to promote Ag as one of their most important social and economic concerns in the state and the midwest when they don' t even offer an agriculture based education program. The use of ANF continued after the Hayden year of the farm crisis in the 80's. They were trying to show support in tough times in the midwest.,.......apparenlty they didn't mind the perception and interest it got from agriculture....however, it worked so well they kept on with it to this day. WTF do they care or have to do with promoting, investing in, developing agriculture and finding ways to help farmers, ag industry and markets?
You would be surprised the amount of so called Hawkeye counties where the clone license plates outnumber the hawks.
