I can't remember a time for any transfer when an offer was reported. Generally they say who is interested and if they bring you on campus they usually do it with an offer in hand. I know ISU brought in Justin Edwards who went to K State and the rumor was ISU passed on him so who knows.

I can confirm this is true. Edwards was not Big 12 caliber in the mind of our staff which makes it all the more satisfying that KSU ended up with him.

I hope KSU fans really embraced last season...it's going to be a quick descent. Illinois has top ten national recruits left and right with no real in-state competition and their fall was swift, this one could get ugly.
