So do you think Iowa fans, media, and coaches will quit whining and crying about losing to us after they win tomorrow night??

Gawd I hope so…. but who am I kidding…. their obsession with ISU is off the charts.

I think that depends on if they win, and how the offense plays.

The safe word with BF and I is ….. Punt.

I don't remember any kind of allowance for multiple avatars...
Hmmm…. You may be right. instead, next weeks verbiage for each post is the quote from the meme above.

That is the arrogance that is Kirk Ferentz.

  • So arrogant he cannot admit Iowa State University whipped his team fair and square.
  • So arrogant that he refuses to play another QB, despite the fact that his QB and his offense rank DEAD LAST IN THE NATION.
  • So arrogant that he refuses to adapt and evolve to today's style of play.
  • So arrogant that he refuses to address the racial harassment/discrimination that has festered in his program for a couple of decades and will ultimately cost his university millions of dollars.
  • So arrogant that he no longer feels the need to explain his incredibly questionable decisions.
  • So f'ing arrogant.

I get what you’re saying. We won by 3 points. We play like that again, we won’t win a conference game.

Weekly changes. Very sure on that. But I feel it had context with just the verbiage.

Iowa really doesn't typically let games get out of hand so ISU even winning 17-7 could have felt dominating with less mistakes.

But it wasn't like that and it turned into a game that you take the win and get off the field before they call everyone back out for one more play.

I actually like how ISU can't hang their hat on it but yeah, they need to be better.

I understand if Iowa fans think the goal line fumble was debatable. It was too close to call and whatever was called on the field was going to stand. But they can be no more certain he broke the plane than we can be certain he didn’t.

What is completely laughable is any assertion that X pushed off on that touchdown. That was typical hand fighting you see on nearly every play.

There surely must be a rational Hawkeye fan in here that agrees this was not offensive pass interference…

If it was called a TD, it would have been overturned if the refs for the images everyone else got.

For those of you old enough to remember the Hayden Fry era, this is feeling like the '98 season which was Hayden's last. The game kind of passed him by, and that's the same feeling I get with Ferentz. There's still a long way to go for this season, however, so who knows.

I think Phil was advising the ref on needing a prostrate exam. I just go like this and the nut crushing just takes your mind off it.
Perhaps he's aiming for the butthole but has Petras's accuracy?

He’s already said he saw it, but there’s no video to confirm it. So I guess we just go with the video and Images confirming they didn’t score?
Correct. He saw it. Can’t share it. Because…….

Conclusive video evidence is a high bar. There is a reason they said call on the field stands and not call on the field is confirmed.

If this truly is it for Kirk, I wonder who would want (and who would get) the job.

Mark Stoops would probably be the frontrunner. I could see Bielema, Leipold, Klieman all be interested as well. Lots of Hawk fans like the idea of LeVar Woods.

Barta would hire Brian

Kirk isn't going anywhere. He's still got years coaching IMO.
