BTN had two good angles that they synced on a split screen. If the refs had that even if a TD was called it would have been overturned. The ball clearly breaks the plane but he didn't have control at that point. I get it though, Iowa's coaches clearly had a better view from 100 yards away...

Iowa fans and media are the worst..... and the coaches now are even blaming any loss to ISU on officials or who knows what else? And ISU fans risk getting hit by full beer cans or batteries attending these games. It's not a fun game at all for most that attend.... just ask them. I know a lot of people that sell their tickets to the ISU-Iowa game when in Ames every time..... they just don't want to attend anymore.

I like the series...when we win. I have really enjoyed reading and listening to the hawk fans and media melting down all week, and tossing blame everywhere but giving no credit to ISU.

But I was actually texting a friend at halftime of the game last week that they should stick a fork in it. It's bad for my health, and I'm sure I'm not the only one whose heart rate climbs to unhealthy levels when these two teams play.

Wait, did he actually just post that? I can't find it. Also, did kirk really send in a tape about questionable calls in that game? If so, that is hilarious, because the calls were confirmed and agreed upon by basically everyone but hawkeye biased fans.

Say what you will about the beat writers for Iowa. I know they are slobber knobbing kiss asses generally, but I do appreciate Leistikow sticking it to Kirk in a press conference earlier in the week. Asked him a tough question, Kirk tried to big time him, and Leistikow didn't back down. Kirk didn't actually answer the question, but it was really awkward to listen to, and according to Chris Hassel, there was a lot of water guzzling and nervous fidgeting going on from Kirk while Leistikow was punking him.

#55 with the absolute worst FBS offense is kind of hard to wrap my head around. Something is going to have to give there. I’m not convinced they have the world-beater defense everybody thinks they do either.

Not about calls were the replays/reviews show the initial call was correct.
Maybe Kirk needs to waste more timeouts on good calls to keep the tavernhok fanbase happy.

Even if they do, those guys are going to start getting tired, probably start seeing some injuries, and/or just frustrated.
We're going to see a locker room divided real soon, if it isn't already.
