Iowa -7 vs ISU

Brilliant logic in your argument IACowBreeder - 4 examples in your argument about how we are excited about the future of ISU football, about what the next step would be to show the program is moving forward. Then you take those 4 arguments, run them through your 1.3 ounces of grey matter and come out with the conclusion that we are all about tearing down Hok football. Simply genius. Your insight and cunning are stunning.

Typical for Hok fan though. If it isn't something about college football not worshiping that wonderful ToE program, then it must be wrong. Your fanbase is the one that is delusional, wanting recognition as a national power when it is just another decent program. Not at all a big leap to expect that ISU, or any Power 5 school, could achieve the same level.

Lol.

Really? You don't believe that statement do you? Iowa thought their advantage was they could out physical Stanford on the lines, when Stanford is always one of the most physical teams in the country year in and year out on the both sides of the line of scrimmage?

Now that's funny... and delusional. Yes, Iowa is usually a very physical team on the OL and DL, but Stanford is elite.

I’m relaying what the team thought they could do. Not what I thought.

A player should have to miss a game for an OWI, the fact you don't agree with that is weird but OK

Serious question. Try not to go full on troll. A true freshman gets an OWI his first night of fall semester. He is an offensive lineman and was expected to redshirt. Since your stance is that he should miss a game he was liable to play in, does he have to wait until his junior or senior year to serve a suspension?

I have to admit, even a more valid question with the new red-shirt rule. Not at all a stretch for KF to say, welp, we would play him in 3-4 games this fall to help with depth and get him some experience but he will need to sit one those. Which is why you just have to look at a programs approach as a whole and both schools do fine there. This is a non-issue.

Not dress the first game as a redshirt freshman

Why wouldn't they participate in it? They're dressed ready to go

In my hypothetical, this was a lineman who wasn’t going to be ready to play for a few years. They aren’t going to play. For instance, the Cotton family, Jordan and Darians parents, fairly well. Neither of them sniffed the field their first couple of years. A game suspension as a redshirt freshman wouldn’t mean anything to them. They didn’t dress anyway.

Why is it fair to let a kid do all team activities for a year and avoid any punishment?

You should be suspended a game you would regularly dress and be eligible to play. I don't think a backup QB or starting QB should get different punishments for the same crime if that's what you're implying

Things I never expected an Iowa fan to say ever

He was a good LB, and should have changed positions sooner.

He's been on a roll trolling, but his hypothesis is correct. Not one coach in college football (CMC included) is going to wait until an injured player is medically cleared and then make them sit out a game for an interaction 6+ months ago after making them miss a bowl trip.

I get that you don't like Iowa, but the Brandon Snyder hill is a strange hill to die on.

I could see Bill Snyder making a player do that.
