This.. welcome to getting double teamed every play AJ.. he had 1 tackle I think. Don’t get me wrong he’s very good but now he’s an every down DE..

As for the game... Brock Purdy(BP)...of cmc and TM allow BP to be BP I think isu wins. BP has more good intangibles then just a pocket passer. Cmc and TM need to stop worrying and getting BP hurt and just play fball.

My hope is that the staff now has a game film to be able to open the offense up.. My hope is that We will see a game plan that plays to the strengths of our stud QB..

BP can run and when he escapes pocket or just rolls out it freezes LBs and safeties and a mobile QB creates more breakdowns in the secondary.

Otherwise if the game plan doesn’t change much and it’s more like last week or heck last years Iowa game then isu will lose.

He didn't get double teamed very much in game one and was a non factor. He was gassed

Boy, I just do not know, my heart says "ISU in a squeaker", but my mind keeps flashing back to last weekend and past games with the Squawks were we come out playing to Iowa's strength, and try to run the ball down their throat, and we lose a close game at the end.

Being objective, Iowa will make changes at halftime, our staff I hope will do the same, right now, if I was betting I would say Iowa by 7 points.

Iowa State kickers have had some big moments against Iowa. They hit a game winner a few years ago, and didn’t Iowa State win a game by kicking like six field goals- I think it would have been in 2007?

I'm going to be cynical and say Iowa 35-16.

The play calling is so by the book my 5 year old knew they were going to run. Unless last weekend was to throw people off the trail I'm not convinced we can win. At all. I hope I'm wrong and you all can quote this post and mock me for it after-the-fact when we win.

I definitely wouldn't read much into the Week 1 gameplan as it pertains to how ISU might call the Iowa game. I'm sure they were trying to play things pretty close to the chest, and they've got a bye week to work up some surprises.
