Iowa got a late push to pull away, but did not blow away Purdue last week. That's a not a lock of a win for them in the BTT. I think whoever draws Northwestern has an easy game though. OSU plays at home vs MSU tomorrow so Iowa may get to avoid Purdue afterall.

Mich St. They've got some horses, and Izzo. The injuries have made them inconsistent, but when they are on, they are tough. They won't make a deep run though, because of the injuries and out-of-synchedness.

And yes, out-of-synchedness is a perfectly cromulent word.

Yeah, I forgot that Michigan blowout win. They have two impressive wins. @OSU is solid. Neb at home wouldn't even register as one of our better Ws.

They have nothing in the non-con and the committee LOVES the non-con stuff.

Last I looked only 2 teams in the Big 10 beat someone in the top 40 of the RPI in the non con. MSU and Wisky

Michigan is the only real solid quality win.
The trick is, the way that game went indicated a very clear outlier to Iowa's normal pattern. Mediocre team got hot for one day with a performance they could never duplicate.

I'll give you credit. You are consistent in your prognostications for Iowa.
