Idaho killings

I don’t get the whole finding the murder weapon thing. Hypothetically, if I killed 4 people with a knife, my first thing would be where can I dump a knife that will never be found. I’m not just keeping it in my car or house.

Criminals many times are extremely dumb. Sounds like this dude was planning things though.

You just need to spread your DNA every where then they really have no idea where and when you were somewhere

Killer probably put it wherever OJ put his knife.

Exactly. It’s most likely at the bottom of a deep lake somewhere. It doesn’t surprise me one bit they haven’t found it.

If Bones is to be believed, there will still be blood evidence in his car.

If they are relying heavily on DNA in a party house, it must be on or near the bodies.

Yeah, like the guy in Des Moines who used an Uber to rob a bank a few weeks ago. And later carjacked the Uber attempting to flee.

A PhD candidate should be a little more astute than that, although perhaps not as smart as he thought he was. Probably too much emotion involved given the up-close violence of the crime, emotion tends to trump rational thought.

It will be interesting to see if he truly is the only perpetrator.

Still no murder weapon either. No motive, one that’s released anyway. And there would certainly be some clothes with a substantial amount of blood on them somewhere.

Even if he did do it, if they don’t have the above items, it could get sketchy in court.

This is a case of guilty until proven innocent.

The dude is going to spend the rest of his life in jail UNLESS his defense attorney can refute the DNA evidence AND has time stamped pictures of him in Pullman (or other location miles away from murder scene) at the time of the murder.

The fact that BK is a criminology student makes his bar for proving his innocence even higher because jurors will assume as a PHD student he manipulated the evidence to out smart the police. He's already been fitted for an orange jump suit.
