Idaho killings

The guy in the hoodie hovering around the 2 girls, one of whom was plainly stumbling drunk, made me suspicious. Today I read that investigators had interviewed him and said that 'he has not been identified as a person of interest at this time'.... He was 100% watching the girls, and then 2 hours later they and two of their roommates are murdered.....
Maybe he has an alibi

The house was like a sorority house, party house, people in and out all the time on the weekends, apparently its quite a normal occurrence in these types of living situations. So basically you would drown out the noise and not respond.

The guy at the food truck, one he has been cleared apparently, and I personally didnt see anything suspicious.

The backdoor slider backs up to a forest area.

As discussed 2 roommates were spared which makes people believe it could be someone that was familiar with the house but not a regular acquaintance.

Incredibly odd situation, and the county prosecutor coming out saying we know nothing, sorry not buying it, they know a lot is my fair guess, if they really dont nothing then wow, the perfect bloodiest quadruple homicide ever?

The question I have, is the guy, assuming guy, dont see a female doing this, the guy has blood all over him, and just walks away and doesnt leave a trail of blood drops? Did he bring a change of clothes? Has to be cameras that picked up movements all over town, just walks away covered in blood and doesnt leave traces all over?

Also the coroner coming out and releasing details, um, that seemed really dumb, why would you release anything at all? Hopefully it was bad info, thats what I would do, oh they were stabbed during an altercation in the head, when the truth is stabbed in the chest in their sleep.

From what i've read, the intruder likely came in through the sliding glass door. This is on the middle level. The intruder likely came in, killed the two on that level and the two on the upper level, sparing the ones on the level below. Apparently the path to that lower level isn't as obvious, if you didn't know it. They were probably spared because the intruder didn't know the house that well

I believe the blood seepage photo was from the main level correct?

Back yard was a timberland area. Could escape that way.

JFC, hes probably waiting for a taco for all we know. A bunch of attractive girls there, what do you expect the average male to do? Just ignore then and look the other way?

They said on local news there last night that he wasn't considered a suspect. Sounds to me like they already talked to him. I think he was just a drunk college kid wandering around after the bars closed. You could see that every night in Ames at the Gyro stand. My guess also is that because U of I(9k enrollment) is not very big most people in the bar/party scene are probably at-least familiar with each other. Was it an event weekend at the school or anything where visitors would be in town? Lots of things to consider.

If they didn't know the house well it probably wasn't anyone who hung out with these people or ever went to parties there. Unless of course they just got spooked after killing the first 4 and running. Might have heard a noise or something.

The fact someone's dog got randomly killed and skinned from head to toe in the same town just weeks before this massacre makes me think there might actually be a psycho out there responsible for both.
I was thinking the same thing. Too many things about this case makes me think there might be a serial killer on the loose. There's just something about the crime scene that doesn't look like some jealous classmate or whatever the theory is.

Why not a girl? They were sleeping. Not like the killer had to fight the male victim She killed. One girl apparently fought tooth and nail against the killer. I would be wary of anybody walking around with a lot of scratch marks, bruises etc. Male or female.

Occams razor says it's a man.

Most likely a Male. Not that females don't kill. They just don't normally do stuff like this. A few females in history have but this is generally something a male would do.

Based on history of these type of events - extremely unlikely however anything is possible. I saw an interview of an ex-FBI agent who said the hand strength and grip required for what happened would almost certainly have to be a male.

Especially with multiple stabbings. Just more physically taxing. Technically I think this counts as a mass killing. Mass shootings are committed by like 2% women. Have to guess other weapons aren't far off. Poison and drowning (especially of kids) is where you'd see more women assailants.

I saw one of the victim's parents said the coroner said she'd put up a fight. I can understand being a drunk/hungover college student, but I'm really struggling to understand how on earth the other roommates slept through it if there was a struggle.

I slept thru the entire derecho. Without being drunk/hungover. It’s not that hard.

Exactly. It's like when women commit suicide, they generally don't do stuff that ruins their face. They normally do something different. Men on the other hand don't care. Just a weird Psychology thing. Not that I am an expert. Just women do murder and stuff different then men.
