I hate the Hawkeyes because....

I actually dont hate any of the players, except Julian Vandevelde. I dont hate their coaches, they are extremely good and play and coach football like it should be done, minus the Rhabdo, rapes, and public drunkeness from the players. I hate their fans, they are as obnxious as any fans across the country, but they dont have any hardware to back up their arrogant attitudes. There are so many Hawkeye fans who are hoping the Big 12 conference collapses because of what it may mean to ISU. thinking we would be a better FCS school. This attitude is moronic, super-conferences will kill the "Big Dance", (nothing Hawk fans should worry about anyway), it may actually lead to deregulation of college sports as an amateur entity (Hawks fans are stupid to think they would hold a candle to the programs that can get the best players money can buy).
If the Big 10 was in the shape of the Big 12, even though I hate the Hawks more than anyone, I wouldnt wish that they would lose their BCS status. I wouldnt wish what we are going through onto anyone. This has got to be hurting recruting on some level. Just my 2 cents.
 
Remember, its a loud minority that do that crap. I have a hard time with it myself, but in reality, there are good hawk fans out there.

I know one. He's the only one I know. But that's one documented non-****** Hawkeye fan.

It might be a little girlish but I hate their colors. When I happen to stumble on HN I feel that it is a dark place and that I need to either commit crimes or come clean.
 
They are so smug as they are cleaning off tables in restaurants. I have yet to find an Iowa grad I truly liked, and the only ones I like less are the ones who never went to school there!!!

HATE is a strong word, but I do LOVE to see the Cyclones win this game. Most Cyclone fans are alumns and Love the University, many Hawk fans are well - not alumns and only love the idea of being Hawk fans. It wasn't always this way, Iowa State made some progress in the Late 90's and had a small window to close the gap, but Ferentz shows up, does a fine job and here we are. HATE no, LOVE TO WIN THIS GAME - YES!!!

I hate this alum/non-alum fight, soooo stupid. I'm perfectly fine with Iowa or Iowa State having non alum fans.

I hate Iowa's colors/mascot/logo/Hayden Fry/fans who only player they know is Stanzi yet they tell me my team sucks/terrible radio guy/idiot I-O-W-A cheer/coming half way out onto the field before they actually run onto the field.
 
I hate the Hawks...well mostly because of their fans. I havn't met a decent Hawkeye fan. I've seen and talked to some fake Hawk fans who "try" to be nice, but are ***** under it all.

...their fans. Not the 5 grads that I know, but all the other ones.

The grad/non-grad thing is an issue because in my experience, the grads are just as reasonable as anyone, and the non-grads are 95% jackholes.
