How far does ISU go in your bracket?

I always create 2 brackets, one where we win the NC and another based on what I think will happen. I think Purdue is a worse match up for us this year as opposed to last year. Swanigan and Haas don't play together as much as most people think they do which will allow them to guard us better. Their guard play is much much better than it was last year and they led the BIG in 3 Pt %.

Final Four, lose to Kentucky.

Think we are better than Purdue (they are good, but Big 10 is weak). Can't have us losing to KU in KC (I live in Kansas, I want to win that game so bad). I don't love Louisville, so I have us facing Oregon in what is a 50/50 game IMO so I went with my heart.

I'm struggling this year. My strategy for money pools has been to take ISU and Kansas out early. I see them so much I seem to have an inflated view of both teams. Since they're in the same region and I can't fathom putting Purdue in the elite 8, I'm not really sure where I'll go. Kansas is the safe pick there, but I just can't do it with the number of times Self's teams have gone home early.
Agreed. I think KU would destroy Purdue, but if we get that far I think we take down KU in the Sweet 16. I actually have us losing to 'Nova in the championship game.

If Purdue isn't any better than they were last year they don't worry. They were the slowest team in Denver.

Nevada could be an issue if we aren't prepared. After the last 10 games, I trust CSP to have them prepared.

After that it's a crapshoot. KU in Kansas City doesn't bother me at all. That would be an epic atmosphere and we thrive in those.

Kansas can't like the MSU draw in the 2nd round. Izzo has an axe to grind from last years exit and I don't care how much there talent is down, playing Kansas is just the thing that team needs to get jacked.

Oh yea, back to the question.

ISU loses to Boo Hoo U on a rim rattling, driver side door bending jam from Jackson with 3 seconds left.

I think way to many here are undervaluing Purdue because of their Big 10 and Iowa hate. I'll have us losing to Purdue in my money brackets.

I'm apparently in the minority but I don't love our first two draws. Nevada is good and Purdue is one of like four teams I really didn't want to see. However, I don't think we will face Purdue as I think they lay an egg for the second straight year and lose to Vermont.

My heart says Iowa State losing to Louisville in Elite 8 after we beat Michigan State after they shock KU.

Head says we lose to Purdue.

I'm going with my heart.
Purdue is the #4 seed that NO ONE wanted to see in their bracket.

I think part of the reason people are undervaluing Purdue is there recent lack of success in the tournament. Last year they lost to Arkansas-Little Rock in the first round. The year before that they lost to Cincinnati in the first round.

We beat Gonzaga in a grudge match to win the entire show.

Confetti rains down like tears of joy on our players and we cement ourselves in the annals of history as the greatest team to run the table in the history of the NCAA Tournament. Some people even call for the official name change to be The ISU National Tournament.

Our jerseys are adorned with gold piping and our numbers shimmer with gold fleck from that day forward.

Question, if ISU and KU both make KC, haven't KU fans been buying this early tickets for months and wouldn't the available tickets be extrememly limited? What's the highest percentage ISU could expect to have 25%? I don't think think it would be close to 50/50, right?

Correct - but still wouldn't be as difficult as winning at say... Allen Fieldhouse
