Yeah they are good. I don't think anyone is saying they would blow thru a power conference schedule or anything.
There's multiple teams they're ranked in front of that I don't think they're better than.

Why wouldn't Iowa fan use SOS to this point? The #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 SOS teams all have at least 2 losses. The #7 is Penn St and they have a loss and the #9 is ND and they have a loss.

Iowa is literally the only team with a topo 10 SOS than is perfect to this point, that is as legit as it gets. No matter how easy the schedule is the rest of the way, the fact Iowa got through the front half of their schedule without 2 losses is impressive.

Of course…that’s why they are #2 and not #11 like Michigan State.

But the season is only half over and Iowa should be able to sleepwalk through the back half as they’ll likely be double digit favorites in every game but maybe 1 or 2.

You don’t need to use SOS as a reason why Iowa is #2 as it’s obvious. Just like you won’t be using SOS later in the year because it’ll drop like a rock.

Either way, enjoy the ride -you’ve got a good team (or, for some reason, continue spending your time on CycloneFanatic).

ND is really good I don't share that belief. A win in Blacksburg was very impressive too. Purdue gave them all they wanted having said that.
