How far can Iowa go?

A lot of posters love the past and hypotheticals. The should rename this site Cyclone Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda’s.

That’s the majority of what this site is… shoulda coulda woulda and hope. Anything to keep the hope alive. I have really enjoyed reading the staff picks over the past 4-5 years. They are terrible. Even the guys who played football.

Can they keep it up, not sure why not, they will be favored in every game until the championship game,, this season will play out just like 2015, lose the Big 10 championship game and then get smoked in their bowl game.

I see Iowa getting to the B1G championship and losing to Michigan. Don't ask me why, that's just what I see happening. Then I think we win our bowl game.

You used to pretend you were an Iowa State fan. Why did you do that? I think mods should ban you if you refuse to answer this simple question

Which one was your nephew?

I can't force myself to give you a positive rating, but those are pretty funny.

Talked with someone that was at the game yesterday. Had no voice left. Environments like that are why college football is great.

Iowa deserves a #2 ranking. That defense is elite. Can’t imagine what they’d be doing with a Clayborn or Babineaux. If Taylor doesn’t win the Ray Guy I have no idea why the award exists.

I hope Iowa gets a chance to compete for the B1G title, despite how much louder it makes the couple of colossal douchebags on here

Michigan won’t beat OSU. I think OSU is going to keep getting better. This is definitely the best year to have a really good team. Wisconsin is junk, PSU, OSU, and Michigan are all very good but not great, so anyone out of the East is beatable. A lot will depend on Cliffords health. With Clifford PSU might be the best in the league. Without him they are probably 3rd or 4th in the East.

I think Michigan beats OSU. Yeah Buckeyes are hitting their stride but Michigan is the most complete team in the conference IMO, game's in Ann Arbor, and I'm still not entirely sold on OSU's defense.

Agreed. PSU mightily struggled with the worst Sconnie team in decades. They'll beat IL next week but if Clifford is out for a while, they'll start to sink.

Penn St showed they were the better team in the first half but having an ill prepared backup QB doomed their fate. Not meaning that as a slight in anyway. The crowd absolutely took any chance the visitors had.

Don’t sleep on Sparty. Turned it over 3 times yesterday and still had no problem with an improving Rutgers team on the road. Averaged over 6 yards per rush.

Clifford was looking good for sure but Phil Parker's ability to make necessary adjustments and tighten the vise I think would've gotten it done even if Clifford hadn't had to leave the game.
