How far can Iowa go?

Wait'll they run into Michigan after Harbaugh finally got them fixed.

Im talking more about the CFP/Big 12 championship aspirations disappearing over a 14 day period but yeah, you did beat Kansas - good work Clones, I guess things are going well. I stopped watching that one when the Kansas QB untouched just set the ball on the ground for ISU.
We wanted to be 2-0 and we're 1-1. Both Big 12 titles are there for the taking

Its kind of weird - the higher Iowa climbs in the polls, the more desperate the cries "but racism" echo on over here. That had all but disappeared while ISU was ranked above Iowa all summer. How bad is it gonna get when we beat luck our way past Penn State to #3 next week?

I know this season has been a terrible let down and all and its hard to talk about, but hammering this false narrative isn't going to undo any of those Purdy picks

No it’s that you guys, who never really cared about black kids being discriminated against by your racist coaches, have tried to pretend racism is over even though the person who created the Iowa way is still in charge.

but answer the question, why did they pay Doyle to leave? Why wasn’t he fired when the internal report made the same claims the players did?

Why do you want to ignore what your coaches did? Coaches who are still there, and have received raises, since the two separate reports came out.

why do you support racists?

Liz Tovar is our executive officer for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and she's helped to continue Iowa's great tradition of inclusion for everyone.
Iowa's Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) has an open door and phone line for anyone to report bias/discrimination, harassment, equity, and sexual misconduct or any kind
And our Center for Diversity and Enrichment is among the best of its kind in the nation

Players are happy, Doyle is gone, the program is better than ever.

You want Kirk fired and the program crippled because it would hurt Iowa and help Iowa State and pretending its for any other reason is fake.

EIU is not in the SEC, they are in the big 10 west, allowing them again to miss Michigan, MSU and Ohio State. How much better would ISU record be over the years if we missed playing OU 4 out 5 years. or UT 2 out of every 3?

If EIU beats Penn. State at home, a game they should win, then I will start to believe they are a decent team, until then they are just like Baylor, both beat ISU and no one else of note.

According to you ISU has lost to two pretenders who aren’t even decent teams. They have beaten two of the absolute worst teams in all of FBS football and a FCS school. That there is a pretty impressive resume. LOL

iowa is literally the same exact team they are every year under kirk

probably will do well during regular season and get exposed by a team with more talent (or drop a game vs. northwestern and win their bowl game if they get an easy draw like they did that year vs ga tech)

whether or not they play a team with exceptional talent in the big 10 this year -- I don't know

So basically you think the whole thing was all Doyle's fault?

So like many of Iowa’s forced turnovers this year?

You just described all of college football, including ISU. ISU did great against the two worst teams in all of FBS football and a FCS team, but got exposed by the 2 teams with talent they played.

Who created the Iowa way?

And why Doyle fired in 2018 when the internal report said he was a racist? Why was he paid a million dollars to be quiet?

why were the referrals to hr for multiple coaches, due to their racist conduct not enough to fire them?
You’re calling the 70+ kids that talked about Iowa football, and racism liars?

You’re not answering very simple questions. You’re trying to pretend it never happened.

i guess at least you’re not blaming the parents of the kids for Iowa coaches being racist.

Dude, have you read a bit of this thread? I’m not sure how you understand anything. There’s some people in need of professional help over here.

Why did you dust off a username to start defending Iowa?

I don't think baylor or iowa really have more talent then isu (some years in the past yes, but not so-much under campbell) -- it's more of a gameplanning issue

however, I think the jury's still out on our performance vs. the upper echelon in college football like Alabama -- we did not do that well against Notre Dame a few years back and I would consider them second-tier (iirc, we hired a new strength coach after that loss)

Just wait for your new conference members to join. Can’t wait to hammer on you guys for missing UCF and Houston. Won’t be able to say that with a straight face tho.
