Agreed. That screen toss they run is his meat and potatoes. I like meat and potatoes.

yes and he needs to take them. Get his confidence up. We need his 3 to be an even scarier team.
I thought his Defense and really this whole season, hasn't been too bad. I think Naz actually lets guys go by too easy sometimes. I also think Monte is one of our best defenders.
Matt also had some good rebounds and a few of his outlet passes in the first half were tremendous.

Point being he has been solid overall, which is what we really need out of him. Even if his shot isn't where we want it to be, the defense never leaves him. I thought he played great in the first half.
Matt is shooting better than Naz from outside the last couple games. Naz needs to get his stroke back.
I'm glad our biggest "problem" is whether or not to start a true freshman that's averaging 8 points a game. What do you guys expect? Not every starter is going to average double figures.
I have no doubt MT will be a solid player at ISU and will improve every game.
He played a great game. Made some big shots and had some real nice passes too. Exactly what he needed.
My mistake...he doesn't make them away from Hilton. He needs to figure that out and I'm sure he will.
Today had to help his confidence. 2 for 3 from long and we played 2 point guards a lot in the second half because Morris was playing so well.
Really like the way the youth on this team is coming around, including Thomas
