Will we be wearing the cardinal jersey/cardinal pants combo for our home games this year?

If so, why?

I think going with the white pants is a much more classic look. The white pants will definitely look a lot better on "Sportscenter"!

I absolutely agree that Red tops with White pants looks by far the best, but I know a lot of people prefer red/red look. I really hope they go back to the Red on white.

I agree, I like the red on red. It gives us our own look.
Hopefully football fans nationwide will begin to recognize ISU by their uniforms when the highlights of our huge wins this fall are on TV.

Red on red...GO CHIEFS GO!!! I mean ISU.

Seriously, the 2 look very similar and I like the NLF look.

I love the white numbers compared to the gold. I see replays of Seneca's run and those jerseys just look bad...

Does anyone have any pictures of the red jersey and white pants? I'm having a hard time remembering what they looked like during a game.

Red on Red is a much better look for our home uniforms, I think they're sharp. As for our road jerseys, I think going to a white with red pants might look alright, although I'd have to see it to make sure.

How come nobody is calling for the return of the 'classic' yellow pants? Now that was a great look. I actually like the cardinal on cardinal home uniforms, but hate the white on white away uniforms. Those just remind me of Jr High football squads. I'd prefer the cardinal pant with white jersey for away games.

I personally like the Red on Red unis. I think it says something when the concept of the Red on Red sounds horrible, but is actually pulled off aesthetically.

I hate the red/red...I love the rode Uni's....I would like to see the white pants red jersey's at home. But I have heard in the past that Mac lets the players vote on that and the like the Red/Red....so I say what they like goes. I think the black shoes and black socks are very cool...

Okay, give me the winning percentages, BryceC, of the three types of uniforms. I want the top rated winner uniforms.

I prefer the red on red but also would like to see white uni's and red pants on the road. Have they thought of trying yellow with red stripes for the road?

But both the home and the road... the black shoes are pretty sweet!!!

I agree, the all white on the road MUST stay, it's awesome. I'm not a huge fan of the all red though at home. But agreed...whatever the players want to play in!

I wouldn't say Penn State looks 'Jr High'. The ALL white is definitely classic & reminds me of the history of the game...before turquoise, seagreen, etc colors tarnished things. The Cyclones look VERY SHARP in the ALL white on the road, and besides...white makes you look bigger. We need all the help we can get.

St8Grad - This is just my opinion. I do not care for all white, neither ours or Penn St's. Not once did i call for the flamboyant colors that have 'ruined' the game. If it was up to me, all pants would be white and each team would have only one colored jersey for both home and away. For ISU I would prefer Cardinal jerseys with white pants for all games. But since this is not possible, I chose to say Red/Red for home and White/red for away. You have your opinion, I have mine.

In an ideal world, yeah... this is cool because each team get's its own identity... but there are only so many distinguishable colors... and you can't have two teams wearing even halfway close colors for a game because people have to make quick decisions and often times it's made on a split second decision based on the color you see...
