Hlas prediction for Stanzi

23-15 is more realistic than 18-5 IMO. How do the WR/TE count for 2/3rds of the picks, and if so, how is there going to be that much improvement. If Stanzi improves I could see the TDs up and the Ints down, but not that much. Again, it is hard for me to believe that a three years starter is going to make such a vast improvement in year 3.

He will not be drafted.

Yeah, the pros want nothing to do with a 6'6'' QB. Book it!

6' 6" is what it takes to get to the pros. Funny, I thought it took supreme talent. Son-of-a-*****, I am only two inches (in height) away from being in the NFL. Either that or it does take skill and the pros will have nothing to do with a quarterback who finished last season +2 in the TD to INT ratio.

EDIT: and according to this source he is 6'4". Meaning, by your talentless logic, that someone from the NFL owes me some money.

1) Right....

2) I think you had that as a sig for some time.

3) Many people who had no interest in Cincinnati, but followed College Football knew who Tony Pike was shortly into the season. To not know who he was means you don't follow it that closely.

If by "some time" you mean "less than a day" you're right.

Dude, let it go. So he has your quote in his sig line. I remember someone having Jeremy's quote about Iowa fans. let. it. go.

Did you know that Stanzi is only +6 TD to INT in his whole career?

Did you know Stanzi has an 18-4 record as the starting quarterback? What do his career numbers have to do with how he'll do this season?

Read the OP. "Mike Hlas' prediction for Stanzi in 2010 is 27 TDs and 7 INTs." I could take the time to explain why his career numbers can be used to forecast. But I wont, somehow I think -1, +5, +2 and a magical +20 makes sense in your eyes.

And I am done with this thread. I am not going to get you to admit that Hlas is a pandering jack***. And you are not going to get me to agree that a subpar throwing quarterback is going to somehow put up an astounding, career changing numbers in his final season when his oline has declined and his recievers are unchanged.

Obviously that's a bit high; and could be comparable to John Walters saying Arnaud is "only" going to throw two picks to Sash this year. Take it with a grain of salt. What I take issue with is the folks here who think Stanzi is going to throw as many picks this year as he did last year, especially with an improved receiving corps and much better running game.

You''re right, I won't say that - then again, I wasn't aware that was a point that you were trying to make.

Two key differences here:
1. John Walters would not be comparable to Hlas. He would be comparable to Dolphin. Remember the media is supposed to be impartial. Walters and the Dolph are not impartial.

2. It would only comparable if Walters said it. John Walters didnt say that. Hlas did.

So what? He's not a beat writer like Logue or Peterson, he's an opinion columnist. That was his opinion.

Do you realize how dumb it is that you're on a CYCLONE message board taking issue with what CYCLONE fans have to say about the qb of their INSTATE RIVAL? Do we need to talk about your self-esteem issues?
