Here we go again.....the "you are not a real fan if you complain about the coach or team" posts. Signed....a "fan" who will call it like I see it but will still watch every game I can. It can happen, you know.
Many average teams are going to win in Hilton, the dark days have been brought by Prohm the terrible, he will make it to CIB in 2019 and get a contract extension.

It's the new lighting's fault. Not only has it killed Hilton Magic, it reversed it! It's a curse.

If we play like that much longer (as in the next two years), it will certainly mean that.
Prohm is just awful, I dont care how good of a recruiter he is. If he cant win now with guys who have a proven 4 year track record of winning we are in for some tough times ahead.

Hilton Magic is not dead. I lived through the McDermott years where we had to scratch and claw and still couldn't get to .500. Hilton Magic is a lot like the President of the United States...it is larger than any one man. At least I hope so.

Hoiberg left an outstanding veteran team when he left, so the "recruiting" you talked about, which includes babb, burton, and jackson, is on Prohm now. The Malou and Lard situations were unfortunate, but you could see that coming.
If you watch the games, he takes the ball out of Monte's hands, runs awful lineups, his half court offense is a joke, and tonight I hope everyone enjoyed that zone D he ran in the second half as much as I did. The guy has ruined one of my favorite things to watch, and that is ISU BBALL. I tried to give him time, but he's had his time, and his recruits, which is basically Solomon Young, Bowie sucks and Holden is... meh. Guys needs to get.

Yeah right, the fans are completely dead because they know Prohm cant coach at this level, they decided to change all the lighting up so now you cant see half the crowd, we still havent beaten a team good team at Hilton in a full calendar year now. Just pathetic.

Fred made halftime adjustments. Prohm does not. Tonight, the team was heading out of the tunnel with 7min on the clock.
Last week, with K-State, they spent the first five minutes of the second half trying to force a 3-point attempt into Matt's hands. That WAS the offense.
It was as though he expected K-State to keep giving open looks. In that situation, you play a half-side ball set and attack the hoop in 3v3 situations. They had a guy backside babysitting Matt. With one guy out of the defensive rotation at all times, the offensive efficiency goes up. How was that not attempted/executed?
Prohm was successful at Murray b/c he had two NBA point guards spaced out nicely over his 4 years. There are currently about 30 bonafide NBA talented players in the NCAA with half of them camping out on 6 teams. If a team has one, they take over ball games (no offense needed) and will carry a mid-major to 20 wins a year.
