The environment sure was a little blah tonight... 1/4 of the student section was empty, Must be some big tests tomorrow. Also the game was over when monte was turned over to start the game by carter. Marquee match up, advantage WVU. From that first play WVU knew, and ISU doubted.

I suppose you don't think Monte is an NBA talent, and I cant help but agree. Incredible college player, he'll make a wonderful living overseas.

That was kind of the whole point. It ain't there now.
Sheesh. First thing about sports. Never get to high after a win or too low after a loss. If you're blaming the "magic loss" on the lighting then I want what you're smoking.
People seem to forget that good play and fan reaction is a give and take. Our players did not look very into this game at times and it showed.

I really like Prohm and the way he handles his business. My two biggest criticisms with him would be
1. There is no reason his senior players should be standing around so much. He needs to have them move. Moving around creates opportunities.
2. We've lost close games on final shots with timeouts in our pocket. While I enjoy letting your players make plays, its clear this year we need to set up some plays.
Otherwise, I'm going to wait until the end of the year before jumping off the proverbial ledge so many of you have.
I'm not sure why it matters if he has timeouts in his pocket or not. When was the last time that we scored on an out-of-bounds play?
The reality is that Prohm is going to have four years. There is no way that JP waives the flag and admits to another failure...way too prideful for that to happen. However, you are going to see a major dip in attendance over the next two years. Keep in mind that JP ransomed the season-ticket holders during the middle of Hoiberg's tenure and forced them to double their donations in order to keep their seat locations.
How many people are willing to pay a $2,500 donation for center court uppers plus another $425 per season ticket? Well I will but over my wife's objection

I think it's the players and prohm right now. He coached good last year with Jiangxi. I think notnhaving a big is killing us and prohm don't know how to coach without one

If you were at the game you could tell the difference. In the past you could just tell we would come back. That feeling is gone.
You won't be in the 12th row next year especially if we miss the tournament.
He will have until 2018-19 and that's all. If we miss the 17-18 and 18-19 NCAA Tournaments then Pollard's hand will be forced. Can't afford the second revenue producing sport to flounder given the impending realignment in 2024.
Can we stop already with the "let Prohm get his guys in here" excuse? So that's the answer? Let him coach an inexperienced team with less talent and THEN he will lead us to the promise land? Give me a break. Huggins coached circles around Prohm tonight. That makes three 2nd halfs in a row that he's been out-coached. K-State, Vandy, and tonight. Not to mention his questionable rotation. It seems like every night he goes out there to coach it is completely off the cuff and it's getting really tough to watch.

Fred has great success once he got his system and players in place. Prohm did very well in my opinion his first year. Three this year sucks but some thanks can go to Fred for leaving the cupboard bare in terms of post players.
