Help us Mr. Science

Am I already dead and my life is currently playing out in front of me during the first moments of crossing over?
No, you are not dead, because all perceptions, including illusions, are brain-based, and without brain function, you could not be writing the message that we can all see.

Aurochs, the bovine ancestor, originated on the subcontinent of India, so it was most likely a guy named Devi Gupta Dhava.

I hope the guy was just hella drunk and not so hungry that he decided to suckle on the teat of the nearest animal.

I want to keep hope alive

You're affording primitive man all the refinements of modern-day society.

My guess is that human nature is human nature, and we evolved to pay attention to movement especially where it is unexpected. Those who didn't probably got eaten before they were able to pass on their DNA.
I imagine being the first large flying predator had some big advantages.

"Watch this guys, they NEVER look up when searching for danger."

Then again, 300 million years ago there were griffinflies with over 2 foot wingspans and then 80 million years there were flying reptiles with 40 foot wingspans, so most mammals probably know to look up.

Deepak Chopra says that people think of ourselves as physical beings that have learned how to think, when it is almost certainly the opposite. We are thoughts that learned how to create our physical beings. Smoke on that one for a while.

Unlike human bodies, thoughts have no concrete physical composition (although it is electrical) Not saying that Chopra is a hack, but Pascal said it better: Cogito ergo sum.

What's more, without his brain, he could not say such things. And his brain is certainly a physical entity.
