Help us Mr. Science

Coincidentally, this is Mitch McConnel's underrated break through performance! Oh ****! now we are bound for the cave.

What earworm question is in your head that no one answers, like why do whiskers not grow all over your face and stop below your eyes?

Is there an end to space and what exists after that boundary?

If the Big Bang is true then are we at risk for another Big Bang to happen in our universe?

Am I already dead and my life is currently playing out in front of me during the first moments of crossing over?

Who was the first guy to grab a cow teat and take a drink?

Is plant life “intelligent”?

If you are interested, there is a great book called “The Hidden Life of Trees” that addresses plant intelligence.

It argues that trees are highly social creatures and will keep each other alive when sick or injured by sharing nutrients via their roots? Some stumps have been found that are still alive hundreds of years after the tree fell, because it's been nourished by its nearby “family members”.

Trees can identify saliva and protect itself from the bacteria in it. Which would mean it would have a sense of taste, right?

This subject has fascinated me recently and it’ll be a good argument for being vegetarian to save lives when the plants they eat are also “beings”.

Plus I love plants!

Along those lines, I've always wondered who looked at a food item (lobster, artichoke, etc.) and said I am going to eat that? And how did that person learn how to prepare the item to be eaten?

This touches on one big question that I can't wrap my head around. My brain cannot fathom that space would go on forever without any end but it also can't fathom that it would have an end. My small mind can't picture either one.

Yes, and also, something simple, like an egg. Who first looked at that slimy thing and thought about eating that?

- How can the universe be curved and infinite at the same time? A curve is part of a shape and shapes have limits.

- What was "there" before the Big Bang started it all moving? If the universe was originally just a solid mass, what surrounded it?

- Is DNA really just another virus evolved from the remnants of ancient viruses found within it?

- How did ancient peoples make those giant animal-shaped mounds that are perceptible only from the air?

- Why does every ancient culture have a form of bread and some kind of pyramid?

- Did dinosaurs really roar, or did they squawk like chickens? What did they really sound like?

- What did Abraham Lincoln's (and other famous people from history before recordings) voice really sound like?

- Will that leaning brick silo near Runnells ever fall down during my lifetime?

My guess is that human nature is human nature, and we evolved to pay attention to movement especially where it is unexpected. Those who didn't probably got eaten before they were able to pass on their DNA.

As for the Bible, every work of literature is a retelling from a mixture of fact and speculation. Take the story of the ark. How did a pair of penguins get all the way to Mt. Ararat? And why didn't the lions eat them?
