Good write up's by Jeremy and Paul Clark. Paul sees the last hiring like I do....Pollard was trying to be cute and Chizik was his Harriet Myers candidate. Arg. 2 million smackeroos to Gene....wasn't there a clause in there about not getting your *** handed to you by Texas AM at home????? Gene quit on this team in October

Yes, Paul Clark's last paragraph was priceless. It appears he doesn't care if he pisses Pollard off either...

I'm just sick of spin in general and that is no shot at JP. I just want someone to come in and do the job. 12 years of DM's self promotion and the constant marketing of GC have worn me down. Just win.

I have been wrong so many times...but why would this guy come to ISU? I hate to think that way but why would he?

Its a step up from Boise. He's already proved he can play with the big boys beating Oklahoma a few years back in the fiesta bowl. He comes here for 4 years, turns the program around (a hopeful thought) and scores a bigger job somewhere else. Coaching is full of stepping stones.

Ugh, I hate coaching searches. We don't have a choice. Jamie Pollard has a choice, and is going to be smarter about this than we are.

Hell yes. But a lot of people think their ideas are the most important, better, etc - and deserve a new thread.

Whatever.

Makes it impossible to keep up on stuff. Unless it's some sort of breaking/new information, keep it consolidated!
