KJ needs to clean this up. If I'm head coach I tell my kids to grow up or get off Twitter and ban family members from CF bc they are embarrassing themselves and the program.
 
No idea who Intheno is, but people are assume it is a KJ family member or team member. Could be a number of people who have ties to the program, so be care assuming who it is.
Rumors are rampant and most I guess are false

Read his previous messages and make your assumption. Regardless of Intheno, we have other examples on CF now
 
Buf how do you explain the coach's wife on Facebook attacking fans who are upset with the results? It should come to no surprise and with sports that when you are a coach or family of the coach you will always have critics - even when you are winning. It goes without saying, coaches and their families, athletes and their families should stay away from message boards unless they have thick enough skin to take the criticism. People are starting to get tired of the same discussions as we continually have every year. Why shouldn't Kevin Jackson be held accountable? Why shouldn't he have to answer to the results?

Yesterday's press conference was just another continuation of what fans have been having to hear for 7+ years - excuses.

Smith didn't wrestle/compete well at Midlands maybe because of recently graduating

Simmons didn't compete because of weight (unacceptable - this is when he needs to experience making weight especially two day weigh-ins)

Straw was pulled out of the tournament to "protect" him - this questions the shape and conditioning we are in, what are you protecting? I was amazed by this response.

And back to the original post, Intheno comments about "wouldn't have the balls to say it to KJ" is very similar another response......Two family members attacking a cyclone wrestling fan who isn't happen with 11th at Midlands. Tell me what in Ron Erickson's comment warrants a response like he received? I have seen far far worse things said about coaches - can you imagine what people are saying about Ohio State's Urban Meyer....

Not exactly sure why the wrestling coach is supposed to be untouchable when it comes to scrutiny, but it's absolutely pathetic that his family members are giving people a hard-time on social media. Imagine if he was a coach of a sport like football or basketball and continued to under perform.

Imagine if we gave him 8 years in one of those sports.......
 
KJ is a good person there is no doubt but he is in a results based profession and he is not producing good results. Therefore it is time for him to go simple as that.

This is not a personal attack on him 9r his family but what he is doing is not conducive to winning wrestling meets.

I don't think Reader is ready. Then I say keep Paulsons. Don't get me wrong, I would love Reader back at Iowa State

Long list in the other thread. Possible candidates would be:
Popolizio NC State
Perry - Illinois
Kish - NDSU
Bono - SDSU
Pritzlaff - Rutgers

Each of them makes less money than KJ and would be making a step up in terms or program prestige and/or responsibility.
