You realize that the BTN streams right? The difference is that the Big Ten believes the package is a conference package. Unlike Cyclone TV, it is actually viewable. To say that the BTN is ignoring streaming is ignorant.
And? I will wager they are fairly happy, at least financially, with their decision. Perhaps they are a little disappointed they haven’t done better in football but they realize the Big Ten West is considerably more difficult than the old north division of the Big 12

They were ranked top 10, 5 out of 6 years. Has anyone in the B1G West even sniffed that in the last 50 years?
You guys are deficient in your conference history. The two years you lost out to Nebraska, what were those. The division was horrible. When was that? Did the division winner finish far over .500? Can’t remember really.
How many NW games you watch last year? You know their QB is a potential first round draft choice right? You know that defensively they ranked ahead of every Big 12 team except TCU. Of course the Big 10 plays defense, with four of the top 10 defenses last year and five ranked ahead of the highest rated Big 12 defense. Beat an SEC team in their bowl game, part of the best conference bowl record last year. So yeah, NW wasn’t horrible.
