Taco Bravo is the best as far as crappy tacos go. However, fried flower shells are the best. Like Tasty Taco shells.

Soft shell so much easier to eat with your hands. Thus the win.

If you like the crunch, go walking tacos. Which are awesome. Just gotta have a fork.

Depends on the mood because I love both.

Also my favorite thing to do with hard shell tacos is to eat the lettuce/tomato/cheese or whatever fillings are besides the meat first. Like eat them top down. Then I have a open ended taquito like thing at the end with just the hard shell and meat. It's a glorious way of doing things.

I don't like the taco exploding on the first bite. And if I'm going to go with soft shell, forget the taco crap and give me a shredded beef, beans, cheese & rice burrito with a little guac in it!

I don’t understand the Taco Bell love. Fine in a pinch I guess but you obviously have never eaten at el Azteca in Ames.

There were some uncooked soft shells at Walmart for a while. Not sure where they went, but they were really good tasting, and only took 20 or so seconds each side to brown them. NIce compromise between soft and hard. They didn't keep very long, even in the fridge, so maybe that was the reason they stopped carrying them.
