Soft, can fit more stuff in them

Exactly the reason I voted for hard shell. I tend to overstuff a soft shell and to me the soft shell ends up tasting like a wad of dough. The only way I like a soft shell is if you fry it on both sides, which takes away that chewy doughy texture.

They're not 'nasty' by any means, but they're vastly overrated.

I'm guessing you're not from Des Moines. In my experience, the DSM natives love the place, and everybody else are like you or me.

I use to travel to southern Cali and Texas for work. Pretty much ruined all midwestern tacos for me.

I went once and don't know if I ordered the wrong thing or what, but it was nothing but a meal of disappointment. Don't get the hype of tasty taco.

It's a local thing. They've been around for a long time in the metro. Which is great; I'm all for supporting local businesses. I just think that there are multiple better options for tacos around town.

Am I the only one who thinks tasty tacos are nasty flavorless balls of grease?

They are fresh, affordable, and quick. Their ketchup bottles of hot sauce are the cats meow.
A negative I have is no drive thru.

I've never taken an out of towner to Tasty Tacos that didn't absolutely love the originals.
